The Corona Of Our Mother Of Consolation (short form)

The Augustinian Rosary is a prayer of the Catholic Faith based on the Apostles' Creed. This Rosary is prayed on a Corona (a word that means "crown") and consists of thirteen Our Father and Hail Mary prayers.

The last Our Father and Hail Mary are for the intentions of the Holy Father.

The Apostles' Creed is our mirror. Let us look into this mirror for our faith's reflection and all that it invites us to believe.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Let us devoutly recite this corona for the good of the Church, an increase in vocation to the Augustinian Order both men and women, imploring the aid of Our Lady of Consolation, Our Holy Father Augustine, and of St. Monica, our Mother and all the saints.

Let Us Pray:

Direct, we beseech you, O Lord, our actions by your holy inspirations and carry them out by your gracious assistance, that every prayer and work of ours begin from you and by you be happily ended, through Christ our Lord. Amen

Concluding Prayers

Prostrate at your feet, O most Holy Mary, Mother of Consolation, we recommend to you the preservation and protection of our Holy Father, Pope Francis, and our Bishop Daniel Conlon. We ask you to protect the Holy Catholic Faith by your prayers, extirpating heresy, establishing peace among Christian rulers and all the faithful, and above all the conversion of poor sinners, and the relief of the suffer souls in Purgatory.

Hail holy queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To Thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary

Let Us Pray

Defend we beseech you, O Lord through the intercession of the Blessed Mary ever Virgin, Our Holy Father Augustine, and of our Holy Mother Monica, this family from all adversity and graciously preserve it, prostrate in spirit before you from all the snares of the devil

O God our refuge and strength and the foundation of all goodness, mercifully hear the fervent prayers of your church and grant that what we ask with faith we may effectually obtain through Christ our Lord

O Lord Father of mercies and God of all consolation, grant propitiously to your servants that, joyfully venerating your most pure Mother Mary as Our Lady of Consolation (and wearing in her honor the holy Cincture), we may be consoled by her in our sorrows, fortified in our trials through life, and in dying, may merit the ineffable consolations of heaven for all eternity.

Amen
